The United Nations Global Compact
The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) is the worldwide corporate responsibility initiative that encourages the integration of social, environmental and governance principles in business activities.
The UN Global Compact asks businesses and civil society organizations to aligning their operations and strategies with ten guiding principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
The International Businesses Standards Organization has participated in the United Nations Global Compact since 2012. As a participant, IBSO commits to embracing the UN Global Compact principles as part of its strategy, culture and day-to-day operations.
We express our intent to support UNGC’s principles and ongoing commitment in advancing those principles within our sphere of influence.
As a United Nations Global Compact participant, IBSO continues to look for ways to contributing to economic stability, social progress and global economic growth. We strive to promote ethical business practices and standards to strengthen the presence of a fair trade business model on the global stage.
